Job summary

Merakey is hiring Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals for our Chico, CA program. You will provide personal care and support to clients living at home, assisting with ADLs, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation and companionship.

You will help with mobility, transfers and range of motion, keep the home safe, and engage clients in activities. Evening/night shifts available; earn $17.50/hr with a $2 night diff; second shift Tue-Sat 2pm-7pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) preferred, especially personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Prior experience in a caregiving, personal care assistant, or home health aide role is a plus.

Job Description:

Earn $17.50 per hour. Plus a$2 per hour night shift differential if working overnight.

2nd Shift - with week-ends -Tue-Sat 2p-7p

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interact and support our individuals with development disabilities in a variety of potential settings including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings. We provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity and contentment of every consumer served by assisting and training individuals in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.This position provides direct support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities with co-occurring medical support needs in a residential setting.
