Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals for our Newtown Square program in PA. The role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and following Individual Support Plans in a caring, team-oriented environment.

No experience required - paid training is provided. Schedule: Sun-Thu 4:00pm–12:00am. Earn $16.75/hour, with earnings up to $18.75/hour with enhanced pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care following the Individual Support Plan.
• Support social and communication skills through engaging activities in various settings.
• Encourage independence by helping with housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide compassionate care and mentoring to help individuals reach their goals.
