Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Sacramento, CA program. You will interact with individuals with developmental disabilities in community and home settings, providing direct care and implementing behavior plans.

• Ability to model, teach, and encourage socially-acceptable behaviors as needed.

Job description

• Certification-Registered Behavior Technician or licensed psychiatric technician; or become a registered behavior technician within twelve months of initial employment.
• 6 months experience working with IDD/MH population or equivalent

OurDirect Support Professionals(DSPs) interact and support our individuals with development disabilities in a variety of potential settings including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings, as well as Adult Training Facilities. The DSP will assist with direct care as well as implementation of behavior plans.
