Job summary

Merakey is hiring Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Chico, CA program. You will provide personal care and support to clients who live in their homes, assist with activities of daily living, and help with mobility and companionship in a safe home environment.

Earn $17.50 per hour, with a $2 night-shift differential for overnight work. Merakey offers a range of benefits including DailyPay, retirement options, voluntary insurance, EAP, and access to learning resources

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) preferred.
• Prior caregiving/home health aide experience is a PLUS.

Job Description:

• Provide the personal care and support to clients who live in the home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Earn $17.50 per hour. Plus a$2 per hour night shift differential if working overnight.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interact and support our individuals with development disabilities in a variety of potential settings including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings. We provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity and contentment of every consumer served by assisting and training individuals in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.This position provides direct support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities with co-occurring medical support needs in a residential setting.
