Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist clients with daily living, goal attainment, and community integration. You will provide compassionate care, monitor well-being, and support independent living in home and community settings.

The role offers flexible hours, with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem, and a benefits package for eligible staff. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or provided through approved providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep, and mobility.
• Implement and follow ISP plans aligned with client goals.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.
