Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help clients achieve independence and participate fully in their communities.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, meal preparation, and transportation while maintaining detailed care records and supporting behavioral plans. A compassionate approach and reliability are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training completed or obtainable through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Implement ISP goals and document progress.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medications and monitor health per guidelines.
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.

Qualifications:
