Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help clients achieve independence and participate in daily community activities.

You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor health, and provide compassionate support in a home- and community-based setting. Training will be provided; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene and meal prep.
• Support mobility and transportation to appointments and outings.
• Implement ISPs aligned with client goals and care plans.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medications and monitor health per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral plans.

• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Required training certifications such as CPR and First Aid to be completed through approved providers.
