Job summary

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Gloucester Day Program in Swedesboro, NJ. The position is onsite, 1st shift, 40 hours weekly, with a focus on supporting autistic and developmentally challenged individuals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Six months of related work experience OR higher education accepted.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep, and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision, teaching daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
• Complete paperwork and maintain regular documentation; communicate with residents, guardians and family.
