Job summary

Bancroft is Hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our Adult Residential Program in Swedesboro, NJ. This onsite role supports autistic, intellectually, and developmentally challenged individuals, assisting with daily living, observation, and safety.

The DSP will implement behavioral plans, accompany residents to medical and community activities, and document progress while maintaining communication with families and guardians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to work with autistic, intellectually and developmentally challenged individuals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Provide supervision and teach daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany residents to healthcare appointments and community outings.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with residents, families and guardians.
