Job summary

Our House, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with IDD in group homes or apartments. You will support daily living skills, promote independence, and ensure health and safety while fostering community inclusion.

The role offers part-time weekend shifts, paid training provided by the agency, and opportunities for growth within the DD/IDD field. A strong benefits package accompanies a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean MVR
• Reliable transportation to and from work; comfortable driving agency vans
• High school diploma or GED or foreign equivalent; 21+ years old
• Able to complete two-week paid in-office training and annual recertifications
• Proficient with computers and documenting shift reports in electronic systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office and web-based systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines and personal care
• Transport residents to medical appointments and activities using agency vehicles
• Document thorough shift summaries in EHR or agency systems
• Maintain resident safety, dignity, and well-being at all times
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and team collaboration
• Adhere to pre-employment requirements and training schedule
