Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with disabilities through daily living assistance and community engagement. The role includes paid training, a sign-on bonus, and a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour with a 20-hour part‑time option.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Fluent English speaking, reading and writing.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, or double shifts.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, shopping, personal care and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans and goals.
• Attend medical appointments and coordinate with care teams when needed.
