The role involves aiding with daily tasks, facilitating transportation, and promoting community involvement while ensuring safety and confidentiality in care delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Positive, compassionate, and person-centered approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow guidelines and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote health and safety by supporting wellness initiatives.
• Encourage self-advocacy and empower individuals in decisions.
• Facilitate community engagement and accompany to work, activities, and events.
• Assist with personal care tasks and independent living skills.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of provided services.
• Assist with medication administration per state laws.
• Connect individuals with community resources for development.
