Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Viera, FL, seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and behavioral support for youth with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Starting pay is $17.00–$20.25 per hour with additional shift, experience, education, and certification pay; full-time positions include every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Orientation and continuous on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• May assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals).
• Help implement behavior support plans.
• Teach life, social, and communication skills.
• Respond to and de‑escalate crisis situations.
• Maintain daily documentation.
• Transport to school, appointments, and community outings.
• Work closely with clinical treatment team.
