Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Egg Harbor Township, NJ is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help individuals reach their daily living goals. As a DSP, you'll work in a collaborative environment to ensure the safety and well-being of those you assist. Responsibilities include coaching in daily tasks and facilitating community participation.

Starting salary is $20.42, with many beneficial programs from day one, including health benefits, tuition assistance, and more. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation.
• Empathetic with a team approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals are safe and healthy during programs.
• Supervise and assist individuals in daily living skills.
• Plan and document programs based on individuals' needs.
• Participate in community-based jobs and outings.
• Transport individuals to/from the day program.
