Job summary

Empowered Services is hiring an entry-level Direct Support Professional to provide consistent, structured care for individuals in the Yamhill County area. Paid training is provided, with a focus on independence, routines, and community engagement.

You will support daily living, assist with community access, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment while following clear boundaries and documentation requirements. A rewarding role in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance (meeting state requirements).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Comfortable supporting personal care needs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living routines (meals, hygiene, organization)
• Assist with community access (shopping, errands, outings)
• Provide emotional regulation support using calm, structured approaches
• Maintain clear boundaries and consistent expectations
• Assist with household upkeep and organization
• Encourage independence and personal responsibility
• Communicate updates with care teams and complete required documentation
• Help maintain a safe, predictable, and respectful environment
