Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential settings. You will provide daily living support, skills training, and community access while ensuring safety and dignity for each person served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or 5+ years of verified experience in a similar role.
• Experience supporting people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and skills training in activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with decision-making to foster independence.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in care delivery.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations when applicable.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes accurately.
• Transport residents to medical and community activities as needed.
• Support staff during shifts and participate in meetings as required.
