Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Titusville, NJ. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid after milestones. Flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for growth reflect our mission to empower

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs

Responsibilities

• Building positive relationships and supporting individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Supporting individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Using adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
• Encouraging independence and helping individuals develop new skills
• Monitoring health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicating with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed
• Completing documentation and maintaining schedules
• Completing in ongoing training and professional development
