Abound Health in Montague, NJ is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

This role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required - paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skill development.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team, families, and case managers.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
