Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will assist with daily living tasks and encourage independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
• Help with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress; communicating with team members.
