Job summary

Lifelong Access is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work within our Supported Living program. DSPs deliver essential supports to individuals with IDD in their homes and communities, following each person’s PCP and Implementation Strategy for all supports.

Pay starts at $18.35/hour with a $0.50/hour increase after med authorization training. Full-time and part-time positions are available to fit flexible schedules and community needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Desire to help individuals with disabilities, with relevant experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness in personal care scenarios.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support individuals with household tasks and transportation.
• Follow each person’s PCP and Implementation Strategy.
• Provide skill-building activities to promote independence.
