Job summary

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres is a nonprofit in the Twin Cities area providing services for adults, seniors, and children with disabilities and health needs.

The Direct Support Professionals (DSP) assist clients with activities of daily living, personal care, and program implementation, ensuring daily well-being and safety. They support household tasks, meal prep, and documentation, while upholding person-centered care and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Interest in supporting clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and/or mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with daily cares, medical needs and supports, ADLs and mental health supports.
• Assists individuals with a daily routine, including hygiene, housekeeping, budgeting, safety and health.
• Plans and implements recreation, leisure and community activities.
• Drives to appointments and activities using a company vehicle.
• Maintains person-centered services per CSSP/CSSP-A and Individual Abuse Prevention Plan.
• Documents medication, treatments, diets and exams as directed.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Prepares meals from planned menus and orders weekly groceries.
