Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals in daily living skills and community activities within a structured, team-driven setting in Lakehurst, NJ.

You will work a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule, with starting pay at $20.42 per hour and benefits beginning after 30 days of employment. The role emphasizes safety, empathy, and collaborative care in a leading behavioral health nonprofit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ten days of paid onsite orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs addressing social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for engagement.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from day program.
