Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Mentor to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and day settings in Statesville/Yadkin 2. You will mentor and train Direct Support Employees, help with staffing, and model person-centered care.

The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and community participation, including life skills, cooking, mobility, and social activities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; Med Tech and NCI certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train Direct Support Employees.
• Assist with staff coverage across three shifts.
• Support individuals in living, dining, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Promote dignity, respect and person-centered planning.
• Document and report incidents of abuse, neglect or exploitation.
• Assist with community integration and social activities.
