Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Mentor to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as those facing mental health and substance use challenges. You will work 4P–12A, including some weekends, and assist with daily operations and safety tasks under the Group Home Supervisor’s guidance.

You will train new staff, complete routine tasks, and participate in pre-employment screenings and credentials as required.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment screening including criminal background checks, name checks in relevant registries (OIG, Child Abuse Registry, and IDD offenders), drug testing, education verification and other credentialing as required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Group Home Supervisor with fire drills, meal time assessments and other forms.
• Trains new staff on processes throughout the home.
• Completes a grocery list for the Group Home Manager as directed.
