Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Mentor in Michigan to provide compassionate support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges. The position offers a Regular schedule with hours 4P–12A and some weekends.

You will assist the Group Home Supervisor with safety drills, training new staff, and daily operations, including credentialing and background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group Home Supervisor with fire drills and meal-time assessments.
• Train new staff on home processes.
• Complete a grocery list for the Group Home Manager as directed.
• Pre-employment screening: perform criminal background name checks in relevant registries.
• Drug testing.
• Education verification and other credentialing per position requirements.
• Provide proof of employment history or references if required.
• If driving is required, provide proof of driver's license, insurance, and vehicle.
