Job summary

CLASS LTD is hiring individuals to provide direct care for individuals with disabilities delivering companionship, assistance in daily living activities, coaching on coping with challenges and completing daily tasks, transportation, supervision/safety and (most of all) a caring and supportive relationship.

The coach may advocate for persons with disabilities to become as independent as possible and integrate into employment and home settings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Pass a background check regarding criminal offenses and child/elder abuse.
• Experience is appreciated but not required; training will be provided.
• Maintain a current and valid driver's license and be an "insurable driver".
• Must be able to work with male and female clients.
• Math calculations needed to complete support log totals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and read, comprehend & compose written material.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for individuals with disabilities, including companionship and daily living activities.
• Coach on coping with challenges and assist with completing daily tasks and transportation.
• Supervise safety, monitor health and well‑being of clients.
• Distribute and record medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Assist with basic medical needs and household chores; ensure client safety during activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities; maintain supportive relationships.
