Class LTD is hiring a Coach/Direct Support Professional to provide direct care for individuals with disabilities in Columbus, KS. The role focuses on companionship, daily living assistance, and coaching to promote independence, safety, and overall well-being.

Expect full-time hours with pay at $16.00 per hour. Training is provided, and benefits include health coverage, FSA, vision, 401(k), AFLAC, PTO, and a referral program. Background checks and pre-employment testing are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pass a background check.
• Pre-employment testing will be required.
• Experience is appreciated but not required; we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for individuals with disabilities, including companionship and daily living assistance.
• Coach on coping with challenges and completing daily tasks.
• Assist with basic medical needs and household chores; transport clients.
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being; act as a role model.
• Distribute and record medications as prescribed; ensure client’s quality of life.
• Support integration into employment and home settings; advocate for independence.
