Job summary

Class LTD is seeking a dedicated Coach/Driver to provide direct care and transportation for individuals with disabilities in Pittsburg, KS. This full-time role covers Monday through Friday day services with a 40-hour schedule and a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include companionship, daily living assistance, medication distribution, and safe transportation to appointments while promoting independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver's license in residence state and insurable driver status
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Pass background check for criminal offenses and child/elder abuse
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• May require a commercial driver's license (CDL) for some positions

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assist in daily living activities, transportation, and safety for individuals with disabilities
• Distribute and record medications as prescribed by the clinician
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Support independence and integration into home and community life
