Job summary

Catalight is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work with adults with disabilities in a caring, supportive environment. Under supervision, you will help clients develop skills, reach their goals, and participate in daily living activities, on-site and in the community.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18 (21 to drive), and a willingness to work as part of a team. The role offers a part-time schedule with opportunities for development and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old; 21 to operate company vehicles.
• Experience coaching adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train participants to perform tasks and life skills.
• Reinforce essential life skills and teach new ones.
• Coach participants to stay on task and build a support network.
• Provide transportation to participants (must be 21+ to drive).
• Maintain safety and provide program activity support on site and in the community.
• Plan and organize activities and monitor progress with individualized goals.
