Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help people achieve goals and live independently, plan activities, and promote inclusion. A High School diploma is required, English fluency, and a NY driver's license with at least two years' driving experience for driving roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Fluent in English for client communication.
• A valid New York State Driver’s License with at least 2 years of driving experience (required for driving positions).
• Comfort operating a large vehicle for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals you support.
• Assist with daily living activities and build community connections.
• Plan and participate in recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and document in electronic records.
