Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company in New York City is seeking a Sales Support Assistant – Direct Response to join the Direct Response Sales team. You will provide comprehensive support to ensure accurate order processing and seamless campaign execution while delivering exceptional client service.

In this fast-paced role you will coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to implement campaigns, resolve billing issues, and support account executives in researching client initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior media internship experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process direct response advertising orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal departments for post-sale execution across endpoints.
• Facilitate clients’ brand allocations, flighting requirements, shifts, and ad hoc requests.
• Communicate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Ops and Pricing to execute sponsorships.
• Troubleshoot creative issues and deliver traffic instructions for start dates.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely client payments.
• Support Account Executives and Sales Management in researching client initiatives.
