Job summary

United Direct Solutions is seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Service Technician for our Louisville, KY facility. The role covers maintenance of facility systems, utilities, and production equipment in a direct mail manufacturing setting.

Shifts are 2nd or 3rd with 24/7 availability for urgent issues. Benefits include 401(k), health and life insurance, and paid time off. The candidate should have strong mechanical/electrical skills and the ability to work with operators and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and five (5) year building maintenance experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions.
• OSHA and other environmental regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all facility and utility systems.
• Maintain and repair print and lettershop equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) on equipment and maintain PM documentation.
• Provide 24/7 support for urgent equipment or facility issues as needed.
• Assist operators with challenging production jobs that require technical expertise.
• Order, track, and maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors for installations, PM services, and repairs.
• Travel to vendor locations, training sessions, or sister facilities as required.
