Job summary

United Direct Solutions in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a full-time Machine Operator on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4:00 PM - Midnight) to operate mailing equipment and ensure quality processing. Must have mail equipment experience; candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude, basic math, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and offers benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of mail equipment experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate mail equipment per job ticket instructions.
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently while meeting quality standards.
• Set up equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Perform and document quality checks to ensure specifications.
• Retrieve cores, boxes, and supplies for daily operation.
• Inspect equipment for defects and perform maintenance as needed.
• Read and understand written instructions and job tickets.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
