Job summary

United Direct Solutions is seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Service Technician for its Louisville, KY facility. The role focuses on maintaining facility systems and production equipment within a direct mail environment, blending mechanical and electrical expertise with teamwork to respond quickly to issues.

The position requires 5 years of facilities maintenance experience, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 5 years building/facilities maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Able to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all facility and utility systems.
• Maintain and repair print/lettershop equipment for uptime.
• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and document it.
• Provide 24/7 support for urgent equipment issues.
• Assist operators with complex production tasks requiring technical expertise.
• Order, track, and maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors for installations, PM services, and repairs.
• Travel to vendor locations, training sessions, or sister facilities as required.
