Moore is a data-driven constituent experience management (CXM) company serving clients across education, association, political, and commercial sectors. The Shipping & Postal Logistics Supervisor leads outbound shipping, USPS compliance, and carrier coordination in a high-volume direct mail operation.

The role requires strong leadership, postal expertise, and ability to optimize mail flow while delivering deadlines and cost savings. Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm, in Elkwood, VA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in warehouse, shipping, logistics, postal operations in direct mail production.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of USPS regulations, mailing standards, postal documentation.
• Experience coordinating transportation, freight carriers, shipping vendors, and postal logistics activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn Window Book, USPS Postal One, Mail.dat processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily postal shipping and logistics for high-volume mail.
• Lead, train, schedule, and develop USPS mail shipping personnel.
• Coordinate USPS inductions, freight pickups, schedules, and carrier activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Accounting, and Postal Operations teams.
• Review shipping records, bills of lading, manifests, and postal documentation for compliance.
• Prepare and submit USPS mailing documentation with Window Book and Mail.dat.
• Manage postage accounts and customer billing.
• Maintain organized records and act as USPS subject matter expert.
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and compliance.
