Job summary

Staffmark Group in York is seeking a Direct Hire Recruiter with a passion for impacting lives and the community. You will market staffing services to prospective client companies and develop strong business relationships to fulfill their hiring needs.

Your day-to-day includes achieving two to three permanent placements per month, recruiting and screening candidates, negotiating terms, and developing recruitment programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years staffing experience.
• Knowledge of employment law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Solicits job orders from customers and consults with management to identify personnel needs and job specifications.
• Recruits, screens, interviews, and refers candidates for permanent placements based on predefined criteria.
• Negotiates rates, payment schedules, and terms with customers within company guidelines.
• Prepares written agreements containing all terms and conditions and ensures proper execution.
• Develops recruitment programs to attract applicants and fill job openings; writes and posts advertising as needed.
• Maintains network of contacts to identify candidates and sources past placements.
• Initiates contact with qualified candidates for openings and conducts interviews and reference checks.
• Prepares applicants for interviews with background information, job descriptions, culture, and strategy.
• Debriefs with customers and applicants after interviews to determine fit and provide feedback.
• Networks with schools, alumni groups, and public organizations to attract applicants.
