Job summary
Pro Services Workforce Solutions has partnered with a Fortune 500 corrugated packaging manufacturer to fill a Direct Hire Industrial Maintenance Technician position at their New Oxford, PA facility. There are openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts, with pay of $29.31–$39.44/hr plus a $1 shift differential.
The role is multicraft, covering electrical and mechanical maintenance of carton-making equipment, PLC troubleshooting on Allen-Bradley systems, VFDs, and related drives.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Basic mechanical skills, including reading diagrams/schematics.
- Basic electrical skills: control voltage 0–24V, 110–240V single phase, 480V three phase.
- PLC hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Your own basic standard and metric hand tools.
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, Saturdays, and overtime as needed after training.
Responsibilities
- Maintain converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime and keep machines running at available capacity and speed.
- Troubleshoot PLC hardware on Allen-Bradley systems and troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drives and their control systems.
- Swap VFDs and configure drive parameters.
- Cover basic steam generator tasks, like startup/shutdown and line maintenance.
- Work with OEM techs on site and use remote OEM support for complex issues.
- Complete maintenance paperwork neatly and correctly and follow plant procedures.
