Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home in Connecticut.

You will assist with daily living skills, medical needs, and community engagement, while following individual support and behavior plans and working as part of a compassionate team. We offer paid training, and certification can be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid are required or obtainable.
• Experience with disabilities is helpful but not required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
• Supporting medical needs and appointments

• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid

Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful—but not required. We provide paid training to help you succeed.

Pay

• $19.28 per hour
• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification
• Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
