Job summary

Homestead of Creston is seeking full-time Direct Care Workers for all shifts in Creston, IA.

Direct care workers provide residents’ daily living support, help with housekeeping and laundry, and meal service; a Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10‑hour medication manager course is required on hire.

• Certification as Medication Aide or completion of the 10‑hour medication manager course is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with activities of daily living support.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course is required upon hire.
