Job summary

Homestead of Chariton is seeking a dedicated Direct Care Worker (DCW) to join our team. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, to support residents with daily living activities and comfort.

You will provide direct care, assist with meals, housekeeping, laundry, and daily routine while ensuring safety and dignity. Certified Medication Aide or completion of a 10-hour medication manager course is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must provide direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry, mealtime service.
• Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course required on hire.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course is required upon hire.
