Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Livermore is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to assist individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. This on-site role offers hourly pay and opportunities to work with children and adults in educational or healthcare settings.

Responsibilities include one-to-one behavioral interventions, daily activity support, personal care, and data collection on Behavior Support Plan goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Previous experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least one year of experience with individuals with special needs and challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavioral areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing and ambulation.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals in the Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
