Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Daly City is hiring for an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

The role involves providing one-to-one behavioral interventions, data collection, and supporting daily activities, including self-help, communication, social, cognitive, and motor tasks, with crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
• At least one year of experience with individuals who have special needs and challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or behavioral sciences preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Support daily programs in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavioral areas, and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing and mobility.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals from the Behavior Support Plan.

Requirements
