Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Pomona, CA is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with individuals who have developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

The role focuses on one-to-one behavioral intervention, supporting daily activities, personal care, and data collection to track progress under the Behavior Support Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least 1 year working with individuals with special needs.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related fields preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services.
• Assist with daily program activities including self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
