Devereux Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support/Care Professional to work with youth at Webster House in Webster, MA. The role focuses on safety, supervision, therapeutic interventions, and teaching daily living skills in a 1:3 staff-to-student setting for ages 4 to 14.

You will participate in a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA, be MAPS certified or obtain certification within 90 days, and earn a starting hourly wage of $21.12 with potential up to $24.58, plus a $250 MAPS bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MAPS certification required or obtainable within 90 days.
• Must attend a 2-week paid orientation, Mon-Fri, 8AM-4PM, in Rutland, MA.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety and supervision of all youth as assigned.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment.
• Engage youth and reinforce positive behaviors.
• Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
• Complete required documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
