Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Massachusetts is seeking Direct Support/Care Professionals to support youth with complex behavioral needs in Webster, MA. The role focuses on safety, compassionate interventions, and positive engagement with the children.

The position offers hours Wed–Fri 3pm–11pm and Sat 7am–11pm, with pay starting at 21.12 USD/hour and potential up to 24.58 USD/hour for higher education or experience. MAPS certification bonuses apply, and orientation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MAPS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Ensure safety and security of all youth by providing direct supervision.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors and providing positive reinforcement.
• Teach and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
• Complete required documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.
