Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Professionals assists individuals in all areas of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and bringing to appointments and recreational activities.
• This position works closely with individuals to help them to become as independent as possible and to meet their personal goals.
• Staff must maintain accurate and complete records, reports and data necessary to meet the requirements of BCArc and any certifying or regulatory agency.
• Effective communication with other staff, family members and individuals is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Must have 1+ year(s) previous Direct Care experience.
