Job summary

TrueNorth Wellness in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Direct Care Professional for part-time and substitute positions. You'll assist clients with daily living activities, medication monitoring, and transportation while providing compassionate support for those facing mental health disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and must be physically capable of performing CPR/First Aid. Work schedules may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physically able to complete CPR/First Aid and Safe Crisis Management Training.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor medication for clients.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living in their homes.
• Drive clients to appointments in agency vehicles.
• Complete household chores as needed.
• Provide documentation in electronic medical records.
• Advocate for clients with chronic mental health disorders.

Direct Care Professional. Chambersburg, PA. Part‑time and Substitute (as needed) positions available.

Pay Rate starts at $14.28 per hour and increases with experience. Must be available Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays. Time and a half pay for Holidays.

Job Duties

• Medication Monitoring
• Assistance in client homes (on site) with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Driving clients to appointments/activities in an agency vehicle (SUV/truck)
• General property/household chores
• Ability to complete documentation on the computer (electronic medical record)
• Provide human services assistance and advocacy for our clients living with chronic mental health disorders.
