Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Dining Supervisor at Anderson University in Anderson, SC to oversee front-end operations, ensure food safety and deliver outstanding guest service. The role requires prior culinary/foodservice experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of about 30 students.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Perform any other duties as specified by management
• Scheduling, inventory, ordering, and managing a staff of about 30 students.
