Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Dining Supervisor at Anderson University in Anderson, SC. This full-time role oversees front end production, opening procedures, safety, and customer service, while leading a staff of about 30 students.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production.
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including food and safety programs.
• Communicate issues of concern to management (customer issues, cleanliness, safety or security).
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Schedule, inventory, ordering, and manage a staff of about 30 students.
