Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Dining Supervisor to join our full-time team. Founded in 1960, AVI has grown into a respected nationwide food service company delivering high-quality ingredients, impeccable service and value.

The Dining Supervisor will oversee front end operations and lead a collaborative dining team across daily service. Ideal candidates will have prior culinary/foodservice experience, strong customer service skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Moving bending stooping lifting and standing on a frequent basis.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production
• Follow opening procedures including opening and handling cash drawers
• Comply with all policies and procedures including but not limited to food and physical safety programs
• Communicate any issues of concern to management ie customer issues cleanliness safety concerns or security concerns
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Perform any other duties as specified by management
